Postdoctoral researcher at the COMPAS School of Anthropology and Museum of Ethnography (University of Oxford) within the project EMPTINESS: Living Capitalism and Democracy after (Post)Socialism. In his work, Volodymyr studies migration within and from Ukraine in the context of demodernization and destruction caused by war. He is also working on a book manuscript based on his dissertation on worker influence in the context of bureaucratic labor control in Belarus.
