Larisa Kalik
Writer and journalist originally from Tiraspol, Transnistria. Lives and works in Kyiv. At 21, she released a book, The Year of Youth, about the traumatic realities of the Transnistrian army and poverty in the separatist region. Because of the book, authorities opened a criminal case against her for extremism, so she can no longer return home to her family.
